Well, we did it! Nigel and I walked 17.5 miles from Fulham to East Molesey, along the River Thames, on September 13th,  in memory of our beloved son Jonathan and to raise funds for Princess Alice Hospice.  We're so grateful for the amazing care Jonathan and the whole family received from the staff at Princess Alice. Jonathan fought his brain tumour for many months and our nurses were with us every step of the way.  We thought of them (and remembered Jonathan's immense courage) along every step of our walk; especially when we felt tired and sore!   We're immensely grateful for all your contributions, whether that has been through your encouragement or donations to Princess Alice.  We're thrilled that we'll be able to send so much money to the hospice and we know that it will be put to good use!

PS - You can see some before and after photos of me in my photo gallery.  Nigel acted as photographer with my phone and unfortunately I couldn't catch any sneaky photos of him later on!  He was there and has the medal to prove it - promise!
