Hi there if you dont know me let me introduce myself.  I am a 44 year old female with the life debilitating disease Cystic Fibrosis. 

When a friend of mine suggested doing a trek in aid of CF i kind of jumped at the chance.  Many people would say i am mad, and i guess i probably am.  The CF Trust had advertised on their fundraising pages that there was a trek taking place between 11th - 13th of June which is going to be a female only event.  They advertised to get in touch if you wanted to register for the event, which i promptly did as i knew there would be exceptions due to having CF myself.  People with Cystic Fibrosis are not allowed to meet due to the chance of cross infection which could be fatal in some cases.  As i was the first person to enquire i have been put forward for my placing.  So now i have to get exercising in preparation for this trek.

 The trek will incorporate 18 miles of Hadrian's Wall with a group of females to raise much needed funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
