Rose is cycling a long long way

NIGHTRIDER 2011 · 11 June 2011 ·
Hello there,
So in a couple of weeks I'm cycling 60 miles across London at night time, starting at 11pm. Wowzer I hear you shout, you're normally in bed by 10.30, are you sure you'll be able to cope. Well, the truth is I'm not so sure, but i'm going to try my damdest.
I cycled to Windsor on the weekend, which is 43 miles and lordy my knees felt it by the end.
So, the reason I'm doing it is to raise money for a very worthwhile charity called the Bromley by Bow Centre.
So those of you that don't know the Bromley by Bow Centre is a really special organisation that has been working in East London now for 27 years. The Centre supports the most vulnerable people in an incredibly deprived part of London. The Centre's projects and amazing staff team support people of all ages on their journey out of poverty and into a more rewarding life. This might be through giving an elderly person a new network of friends or helping someone who is struggling with mental health issues learn new skills and move into work plus much much more!
This is a really hard time for the Centre though and as public funding continues to be squeezed the Centre is reliant on companies, trusts and individuals to back its work to enable it to continue providing its vital services.
Anyhow, If you wanted to sponser me for this it would be really nice of you.
Love Rose
