Jordan Desert Trek, 19 April 2013

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking up the challenge of a 5 day desert trek through the Jordan Desert approx 17kms per day to raise money for The Bristol Downs Syndrome Trust. My reason for choosing this charity is that on 23rd June 2012 my beautiful first grandson Riley Stephen James Nolan was born with Downs Syndrome he was a birth diagnosis and took us all by surprise after shedding many tears I decided that I would like to give something back to the charity which is helping Riley and our family. Like the majority of us, untill Riley touched our lives my knowledge of Downs Syndrome was minimal. To raise awareness and provide support for the children and their families I will be pushing my endurance levels to raise money for this good cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
