Story

As most of our friends, family and colleagues know, we have been walking the Camino Norte to Santiago de Compostela in stages. We started in Bilbao in June 2009 and last year reached Luarca, our starting point this year on the final leg. This will be the longest trek, covering 250 km on the hilly route to Santiago from 9 and 22 June. We'll be carrying our belongings and staying at small hotels and hostels along the way, including a Monastery! One of the days, we'll need to walk 30 km with the first cafe at 21km and I need my coffee! We are accompanied by our good friends Anne and John Simmons, Ray Mand and Graham Geary. Anne used to work in Public Health Sciences.

We are raising money for Tong-Len, a charity which supports and provides educational opportunity to homeless and displaced children in India. Please sponsor us and make the pain of walking worth while.
