As I am sure most of you know, my wonderful nephew Rory was born with a rare life limiting condition, and he sadly died in October 2017 at just 4 years old. 

Rory packed a lot into his short life (remembers the time we carried his wheelchair around Monet's house...) and loved being outdoors on walks or chillaxing in the garden. 

Christopher's Hospice sits on the canal just outside Guildford, and as a family we spent many an afternoon wandering along the towpath, with the occasional stop at a pub or two. I hoped that one day Rory would be able to join us and walk the distance of the canal, but sadly we never managed this. 

Shooting Star Children's Hospices have been absolutely fantastic for my family, I can't describe how much they have supported us and the wonderful care they offer to other families. 

So with the help of some friends I am aiming to finally complete this quest.
