Story

Hi we are brothers Rory age 8 yrs and Alfie 4 yrs we have a very special friend who is close to our hearts called  Poppy Guilder who is 8 years old. When she was only 14-months-old she was diagnosed with a huge brain tumour. she has had to be very very brave as she has had lots of operations, 20 months of chemotherapy and 6 weeks of radiotherapy. Poppy is only here today thanks to Birmingham Children's Hospital. To thank them poppy's mommy & daddy (Lisa & Brian Guilder) started raising money to buy new equipment for other poorly children and for research in to childhood brain tumours. So far they have raised £134,000!!! WOW!!!  Now we would like to help too, so we are taking part in an exercise bike ride at Namco Strykers in Tamworth, on 18th April 2011, cycling as many miles as it would take to ride from Tamworth to the real poppy fields in Ypres, Belgium. They think it will take 4 days of cycling for 8 hours a day and we are going to cycle for 30 minutes for them.We really need your help to reach the high target we  have been set! We would be really happy if you could help us to help children just like Poppy, so please sponsor us ! (It would also be very good if you click for gift aid on the sponsor page - thankyou!)

If you would like know more about Poppy please visit her website at www.poppyfieldsappeal.co.uk

                      Thank you so much
