Story

I'm running my first half marathon- the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Dementia UK.

My Nan was diagnosed with Dementia earlier this year.

There are currently 850,000 people in the UK living with dementia; one in 14 people over the age of 65 have dementia. A new case arises somewhere in the world every 3 seconds.

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Their nurses, called Admiral Nurses who they continually support and develop provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimers disease. Please help me support their amazing work. When you support Dementia UK, you're helping grow the number of specialist dementia nurses. With your help, no one will have to face dementia alone.

I would be extremely grateful for any donations, on the 3 April 2022 I will be running my first half marathon, I am aiming for a time of 1 Hour 45 minutes.
