I'm running my first half marathon- the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Dementia UK.

My Nan was diagnosed with Dementia earlier this year. 

There are currently 850,000 people in the UK living with dementia; one in 14 people over the age of 65 have dementia. A new case arises somewhere in the world every 3 seconds. 

 Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Their nurses, called Admiral Nurses who they continually support and develop provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimers disease.
