Story

My brother, Jonny, died in November last year of skin cancer. Five months prior to his death he took part in the Blenheim Triathlon and it was his hope to do so again this year having signed up shortly after diagnosis. To cut a short story even shorter, Jonny no longer has that chance. The organisers have graciously made an exception to the rule and are letting me take part in his place; for this, I am very grateful. However, I am far less grateful for the ridiculously fast time Jonny has set as a precedent which I will obviously have to try and beat. I will likely fail.

Despite this, it would be really great if you could donate. Whether you knew Jonny and want to help do something in his memory, or if you just want to help a good cause, your money - however much - will be greatly appreciated.

St. Michael's Hospice were a great comfort to Jonny at the end and indeed to those who love him most. The work they carry out is beautifully selfless; rest assured the money you donate will be used in the same manner.

Thank you all.
