Dartford FC Academy Coaches Playing for Abigails Footsteps

Manraj Dhesi is raising money for Abigail's Footsteps
In memory of Ronnie James Searle
A baby loss charity providing support for bereaved families and bereavement training for healthcare professionals. One of our greatest contributions has been the creation and funding of the Abi cooling cot which allows parents valuable time to spend with their baby before saying goodbye.

Story

Abigails footsteps is a charity that supports and helps families who have sadly suffered a stillborn.

In September 2017 our head coach Russ Searle and his wife Tracie sadly lost their son, Ronnie James Searle, he was born sleeping at Medway hospital.

With the help and support of Abigails footsteps they and their families were able to spend valuable time with their son in the days after thanks to a cold cot.

This is one of the many ways the funding provided helps bereaved families.

Cold cots mean the family can spend as much time as they need to with their baby.

They also train and provide specialist bereavement midwives who can support the family at such a terrible time.

We are raising as much money as possible in the hope to buy more cold cots and support the training to reach as many families through such a terrible time.

Thank you
