Story
Hi everyone :),
THANKS for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
I will not talk much about myself here, because this is not about me, it's about them. All I can say is that I've always loved children and found it cruel when someone abuses them, in any form.
So this is just something small, almost insignificant, which I dedicate to the immense work that this charity does here in th UK.
Now let's talk about them ;).
The NSPCC was founded in 1884 and their vision is still to end cruelty to children in the UK. You can find out more about how they are ending child cruelty, how the NSPCC is organised and about their history here.
With the help of the NSPCC’s supporters and partners, they’re getting closer to ending cruelty to children in the UK. Here’s a quick insight into what they’ve achieved over the last 10 years.
About the challenge
The NSPCC is urging people to take on The Gherkin Challenge, racing up the stairs to scale the 38 floors to the summit of London's iconic Gherkin building to raise vital funds for the charity.
Taking place on the weekend of 22-23 June, The Gherkin Challenge offers a rare opportunity to enjoy stunning panoramic views from the building's exclusive 40/30 bar, normally only accessible to private members.
For the competitive (this should be me ;)), there's Summit Sunday - a no holds barred race to the top with no distractions. Or you can bring the kids along to the family morning on Saturday 22 June, complete with Everest Basecamp themed activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please, dig deep and donate now! Do it for the children!
