The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

My name is Roni and I am 5.  I am a Badger with St John’s Ambulance Cymru and I love it.  I want to give something back and help raise money for St John’s Ambulance Cymru during this difficult time. I am going to try to complete the 2.6 challenge.  I am going to walk to our friend Leo’s house and post him a letter with 26 challenges for him to complete.  Leo is then going to try to complete these and then write 26 challenges for our friend Harri to complete. Leo will walk to Harri’ house to post his challenges. I will walk to our friend Maxen’s house because he is shielding and can’t go out right now, and I will post his 26 challenges through his letterbox to complete. As well as completing our 26 challenges, we should have walked 2.6 miles between us.  We will be staying safe and keeping our 2 metre social distance when completing my challenges. Please please please can you sponsor us, as I really want to help St John’s Ambulance Cymru. Thank you all so much and stay safe 😊

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
