Story
Welcome to my Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2022 challenge page.
I'm back again doing the Dublin City Marathon, my first since 2019. I'm not counting the 2020 virtual marathon!! As most of you know, I've been doing these marathons for Temple Street since my first marathon in 2006. So tomorrow will be my 16th marathon and my 12th Dublin Marathon. The training has been done, all that's left is to get to the start line and see how we get on. I doubt I'm getting faster but hopefully the sun will shine and the wind will be to our backs.
About the Cause - if you could donate the price of 2 drinks, that would be great !!
I am taking part in this challenge to support the little patients and the staff in Children's Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centres. Each and every day across CHI hospitals and urgent care centres in Connolly, Crumlin, Tallaght and Temple Street, sick children and their worried parents are coming through the doors in need of world-class paediatric care and treatment.
Join me in supporting this essential, urgent and life-saving work and make a real and lasting difference in the lives of sick children. Please donate what you can to help give every sick child every chance, to create a child-centred, home-from-home environment for patients in hospital and ensure that children continue to have access to the very best facilities, services and equipment when they need it most. This is the power of your support.
Thanks for your support
