Medics against Violence is a small Scottish charity trying to do amazing things. Our original aim was to tackle violence in Scotland in all its forms because we've all seen far too much of it. We work closely amazing partners because the one thing we are sure of it that we will only achieve good outcomes if we work together. We run MAV Schools, an education programme for young people and Ask Support Care, a domestic abuse training initiative. We understand that violence rarely presents alone so we also run Navigator and Youth Navigator, hospital based support programmes for people with psychosocial issues and Pathfinder a new community based programme based in Inverness which aims to support people into recovery from addiction to drugs.
