Story

Many Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page, I appreciate that you're all busy people!

THE CHALLENGE:

Mount Elbrus - 10 day expedition in Russia - which involves moving all team equipment and personal kit between Base Camp and High Camp to support acclimatisation hikes and the 5642m ascent of the summit (15 - 24 Aug 19).

Also raising funds for United Aid For Azerbaijan and their valuable work with disabled children in the region where a lot of us work.

The trip is wholly self funded, so all monies raised go directly to supporting United Aid For Azerbaijan (UK Reg Charity 1068313) www.UAFA.az

Why the Trek?

Following the success of last September's Kilimanjaro Climb (Africa's highest point), Mount Elbrus is a natural progression. Standing at 5642m, it presents the highest peak on the European Continent and is more physically and technically challenging than Kili.

I'll endeavour to keep you all up to date with progress (without inundating your inboxes!).

Please wish me luck and support the UAFA charity if you can!

All the Best

Ron
