Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

21/10/2021 Update - It is with great sadness that I have to report that Neil Ord passed away in hospital with his Wife Kay at he side.  Neil was very courageous and tackled his MND with a fighting spirit.  He was a great friend, very quiet and gentle man, we will miss you enormously and never forget you. 🙏🙏

I have know Neil since 1982 when we worked at Littlebrook Power Station. Neil is an Electrical Engineer and has always been a very active cyclist, until 2019 when he was diagnosed with MND and has had to give up cycling. In 2014 Neil cycled from John O Groats to Lands End for Cancer Research UK.

I will be Running, Walking, doing HITS and Yoga for the whole of 2021, please donate whatever you can to fight this terrible debilitating and very personal disease.

All you donations are extremely appreciated, thank you.

13/01/2021 Update - Amazing, only five days since the fund raising went live and we are over the halfway point.  But this is a year long pledge to raise funds for MND by me, so who knows where we will finish - Than you.
