Here we all are at mum and dads Golden wedding anniversary five years ago. Now my dad has lost the battle in his fight against cancer , and my mum and I have lost the once strong cornishman who supported us both. Dad died on 10th October 2011 .

Dad loved walking the cornish coastline with his beloved wife, something he can no longer enjoy.So in his memory I will walk Plymouth to Penzance along the southwest coast path in 14 days.

I start my walk on Saturday15th September 2012 at Smeetons Tower, Plymouth and continue along the southwest coast path approx 140 miles until I reach Penzance on Friday 28th September 2012.

Crossing a patch of coastline very particular to our family with much history for us all, the famous Looe to Polperro section with the beautiful Talland bay at its midpoint.

My dad proposed to my mum at Talland bay , and then took me there to swim often when I was a child.

Dad you made me a strong woman! and I will do this to raise money for great charities in your honour.
