Story
As an alternative to "stepping out" this year I am on my bike travelling a proxy journey from Romanby to John O'Groats around the lanes of North Yorkshire in a series of bite size stages.
- Weds 3 May - I passed Jedburgh in the borders
- Fri 5 May - A proper soaking - pesky Scottish weather
- Sun 7 May - I crossed the Forth Road Bridge (181 miles)
- Tues 10 May - I have passed Perth on route to the highlands
- Thurs 11 May - Passed through Aviemore (291 miles)
- Sun 14 May - At the gates of Inverness (337 miles)
- Thurs 18 May - Bike fixed and on the way to Wick (422 miles)
- Weds 24 May - Safely arrived in John O'Groats
Every Christian Aid Week, people across Britain and Ireland step out in love for our global neighbours in a joyful celebration of our determination to change the world, through our gifts, prayers and actions.
All our efforts are aimed at helping Christian Aid give some of the poorest in the world the support they need in grave times of poverty, war and climate change and we VERY much appreciate your help in supporting this vital cause.YOUR CONTRIBUTION WILL MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE, THANK YOU
