Organised by the Rotary Club of Romsey Test, ‘Walk the Test Way’ is one of the most beautiful walks in Hampshire. There is a route for everyone, from a family-friendly 5-mile stroll to an epic 25.5-mile challenge.
I have chosen to challenge myself and walk 25.5 miles to raise vital funds for Mountbatten Hampshire Hospice (formally Countess Mountbatten), who back in the 1980s cared for my beloved dad until his death. For those who may not know, hospices are mainly reliant on funds raised through fundraising and given in wills in order to keep running. If we didn’t have these wonderful places then where would we be, back to drawing a curtain around loved ones, waiting for them to die…
