We provide practical and emotional support to children and adults with cancer

Story

Hi,

I'm doing a skydive for charity. I would be absolutely terrified but actually I am in denial. Things will probably come to the fore when I'm facing the open door.

As you may suspect, I'm not exactly an adrenaline junkie and wouldn't do this unless there was a very good reason for it. Also I have never done anything for charity before and am feeling bad about it.

And this isn't just jumping out of a plane with a wire-opened chute. Oh no. Apparently we jump out at 10,000 feet. We will hit 120mph downwards before I'm allowed to pull the cord and test the chute-packer's packing for real.

I'm raising money for the Cancer Recovery Foundation which helps adults and children prevent and recover from cancer. It's a very worthwhile cause and I would hugely appreciate your support to help me reach my target.

Many thanks indeed,

Roly
