38,000 people are diagnosed and 14,000 die from blood cancers in the UK every year. That's enough people to fill a major football ground and Cure Leukaemia has been fighting back since 2003.
Every penny raised through Cure Leukaemia's London 2 Paris ride will go towards supporting the groundbreaking work of Professor Charlie Craddock CBE and his team of clinicians based at the Centre for Clinical Haematology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and now at Centres across the UK.
Cure Leukaemia's funding of specialist research nurses across the UK helps connect blood cancer patients with treatments that are not currently available through standard care. These clinical trials are potentially life saving and not only help save lives but also hasten global progress towards eradicating blood cancer within 25 years but with increased funds that dream could become a reality sooner.
Please give what you can as I will be cycling 500km in Blood Cancer Awareness Month, thank you!
