Story

On Saturday 3rd October, Terry Rosoman will embark on a brutal 50-mile ultramarathon whilst carrying weighted load that increases in line with the amount raised for Mind, the mental health charity.

HIGHER THE FUNDRAISING, HEAVIER THE LOAD

To represent the mental pressures and stressors that we all experience through life, Terry will carry an increasing amount of weight as his fundraising total increases.

During the challenge, at each of the 9-course checkpoints, the fundraising total will be checked and the weight increased appropriately.

For every £50 raised, Terry will add 1lb of weight to his load carried.

MIND - THE MENTAL HEALTH CHARITY

With lockdowns, restrictions, ever-changing rules and the fear of a deadly virus, I think it’s safe to say we’ve all had a tough time recently due to the coronavirus. People suffering from mental illness find these times particularly challenging. That’s why I want to raise £1,000 for Mind, to help them continue their fantastic work supporting people with mental illness during this crucial time.
