This September I am running the Sheffield Marathon for The Snowdrop Project, as they are the first charity in the UK to provide long-term, community support for survivors of human trafficking.

They empower survivors to make a fresh start and reduce their risk of re-exploitation and homelessness. 

The number of potential victims of modern slavery is increasing year on year and so the need for long-term support is increasing!

From one-to-one casework support, specialist trauma counselling to educational and confidence building activities such as sewing class and English class. Your donation will be helping survivors of trafficking build that positive future for themselves and their families. Donations of any size are so appreciated, to help support the work Snowdrop is doing!

£100 would ensure a survivor can access the therapeutic support they need
- Face-to-face interpreters are needed during counselling sessions for survivors to get the support they need.

£300 would cover the costs of renovating a house to make it a home.
- When a client moves into their permanent residence,
Snowdrop want to help make the client feel safe, happy and
secure in their own environment. They do this through cleaning painting and furnishing their house.
