Story

The idea of completing the National Three Peaks Challenge was forged at James' Dad's (Barry Mallott) wake in July 2021. We all discussed how cancer had affected family members & friends within recent years and concluded we would raise money for a Cancer based charity by completing the national Three Peaks in 24 hours or less!

I lost my father in very similar circumstances to James and have never had the opportunity/gotten around to doing something in his memory. Joining James and the guys to do the 3 peaks challenge is a great way to raise money and awareness for cancer research and honour the memory of our fathers.

We're all aware that this challenge is not going to be easy! As per the cover photo, we need to complete Scotland, England & Wales tallest mountains within 24 hours. The three climbs consist of: Ben Nevis (1345m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1085m). Approximately 11 hours of driving (500miles) and 13 hours of hiking. Team members consist of: James Mallott, Liam Stevenson, James Bateman, Roger Goode, Matt Hemeter, James High,Karl Jackson, Luke Large & Adam Young. On behalf of the team thank you for your support! Your sponsorship will go to a worthwhile cause.
