Fundraising for Norwood
Story
is an outstanding charity supporting children, adults and families living with learning difficulties or disability and affected by social disadvantage. This year will find it hard to raise the £9m in voluntary contributions it needs to provide its services.
I am a huge supporter of the charity which is why I give my time helping the Trustee Advisory Board with fundraising. It is also why on the 7th October I will be undertaking a gruelling challenge in order to raise much needed funds for . This will involve cycling up to 10 hours a day for 6 days to cover 500km from the foothills of Kilimanjaro to the at . 20 residents will also take part in the challenge.
Last year's bike ride in Rajastan raised over £600,000 and on this year's ride I have committed to raising over £2,750 in addition to my fares and expenses.
