Story
In June 2023 I am cycling 500km across Zambia from Lusaka to Livingstone. I am a keen road cyclist, and am incredibly excited to take on this new mountain bike experience on more challenging terrain, all whilst raising money for this incredible charity.
I am self financing the trip: paying for airfares and the cycling support crew costs.
My eldest brother Andrew has run Build It International for over 20 years. He has dedicated his life to helping others! Build IT trains and qualifies young Zambians in construction work, building local infrastructure such a schools and hospitals that not only significantly improves the quality of life of the local communities, but also allows the young Zambians to build a better life for themselves and their families.
Throughout the ride we will be visiting some of these project and seeing first hand the impact they can have.
It costs £1,000 to train a young person at the Build It Centre for Excellence in Lusaka. I am aiming to raise £2,000, enough to train 2 young people and make a real impact on their future!
Thanks in advance
