Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I signed up for the London Triathlon back in November, following sustained 'encouragement' from my brother-in-law Andy Davies. At the time he was training for his first Ironman event and assured me that an Olympic distance triathlon was well within the reach of mere mortals like me.

I didn't particularly believe him, having never done anything of the sort before and always having been built more for comfort than speed.

Anyway, 8 months on and after a fair bit of training I am in very real danger of competing in (and maybe even completing) my first Olympic distance triathlon.

So..to make sure that some permanent good comes out of me risking my life and (more importantly) looking like an idiot in various wetsuit / lycra oufits.. I am raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust and would be very grateful for any support that you could give.
