Story
The West Highland Way is a 96 mile hike through some of the most breathtaking parts of Scotland. It is described as being quite strenuous and needs plenty of preparation. I’m planning on doing the hike on April 22nd 2022 taking just 7 days to complete it. I would like to raise at least £1000 for my charity Flying Start (part of comic relief) which helps children around the world living incredibly tough lives, those lives have been hit even harder over the last 2 years. Please donate as much as you can.
*** With the ongoing war in Ukraine, half of all the money I raise will now go to the Disaster Emergency Committee, an organisation I have worked with before,
Comic Relief helps to fund hundreds of amazing organisations who are working on the ground to support the most vulnerable people and communities in society including many of those hardest hit by the coronavirus crisis. This includes vulnerable children and young people, people who are homeless or who have been forced to flee their homes, women and families at risk of domestic abuse and those struggling with existing or new mental health problems. Since 2010, British Airways customers and colleagues have raised over £25 million an incredible amount that we are immensely proud of. These vital donations have supported more than 824,000 people in the UK and some of the worlds poorest communities. Although it might look and feel a bit different this year that doesnt mean we cant have lots of fun and continue to make a difference in our communities, whilst keeping ourselves, customers, friends and family safe.
