Story

Last August I surprisingly suffered an epileptic fit which I was to learn was the result of a supposed benign brain tumour advised to me on the evening of my 61st birthday! a birthday I will remember forever for all the wrong reasons.

Roll forward another three months, after surgery, the tumour was reassesd as stage four brain cancer. After the intial shock and emotional reaction over some montths I have now arrived at a state of acceptance and go forward with a positive outlook to fight back against this relative rare life limiting disease.

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. Your support would be appreciated.
