This is a project based in South America’s largest favela called Rocinha in Rio de Janeiro. The project will be focusing on giving young adults skills that can help them get jobs and have a sustainable income. These young adults have very few opportunities because of problems in the favela and the poor quality of education available. We will be running vocational classes specifically in the arts to help them have a better future.

We will be doing this by creating a multi level building that will have a DJ school on the first floor, a community centre where classes will be run on the second and finally accommodation for tourists and volunteers on the third, which will generate revenue to sustain the project.

Together with Zezinho and project partners we are going to bring this idea to life, and have a meaningful, sustainable and positive impact on the favela.
