We educate children to help them escape poverty

Story

Hi everyone! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I've been given the amazing opportunity of volunteering in Kenya in June 2014 for the Memusi Foundation, an amazing charity with the main aim of providing free education to children in Africa, offering a way out of poverty and really making a difference. They also provide malaria nets, and build small farms to try and guarantee sustainability for the local communities.

I've managed to raise some funds so far by doing a 14 mile walk in August last year, amongst bucket shakes and bake sales.  My next venture is bag packing at Sainsburies in May.  My family have also been selling some of their belongings to help me raise money so for that I am eternally grateful!

am so looking forward to my trip and want to raise enough money to pay for the trip but also to take some presents for the children. Please dig deep and donate to this amazing charity - there are no overheads so all funds go directly to supporting the children and their communities.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
