Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page in memory of our much missed friend, Lauren McLean.

In May of this year, we lost our beloved Lauren to ovarian cancer. She was an absolute hero, fighting every moment to beat it but it wasn't enough. She's not with us anymore, but her inspiration lives on in her friends and family. 

That's why this August, myself and my partner Blair and some of our friends will be competing in Concrete Hero 2014 - a 9km obstacle race through downtown Vancouver. Although the official cause is the BC Cancer Foundation, we felt that as The Beatson did so much for Lauren we would also like to raise some money for them by leaping over cars and scaling city walls.
