Story
Our very special Dad, Rob White, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 3 years ago. He is amazing and doesn’t let it stop him doing the things he enjoys. He has a brilliant sense of humour, which definitely helps him navigate the tougher times. He is a fantastic father and husband and loved by everyone that knows him.
In his younger years, he ran numerous marathons and half marathons and was an incredible long distance runner. His condition has stopped him from being as active, so he decided before time passes and he may be unable to do it, he wanted to complete the Great West Run in Exeter and raise money for Parkinson’s uk, to hopefully one day find a cure.
As a family, his loving wife Michelle and 4 supportive daughters, are encouraging regular training and exercise to help complete the 10k course. As you can imagine this is not easy at 66 years old and suffering daily with Parkinson’s!
He will be running with his girls beside him and son in law to keep him going and tempt him with a pint and his favourite roast dinner at the finish line.
Please could you help in encouraging him by donating even a little to this amazing charity, It would mean the world to us as a family.
I think you will agree that this ambitious task is inspiring and we are all very proud of him already.
Thank you so much x
