Yorkshire Three Peaks in Honour of "Bobby Boy" Taylor

Well in all started in the pub (standard) I was sober actually!!
At age 40 fitness is at an all-time low & weight at an all-time high, this is going to be a real challenge for me, The 3 Peaks in 12 hours (target) 25+ miles in one go. I will need to change my lifestyle & not give in to temptation of a drink / night out, the take away, the meal out. Eat healthier, gain a level of fitness again (last seen at the turn of the millennium) & get some serious walks done. I will find this hard, physically & mentally as well as the time commitment. But I've made the decision & I'm going to go for it.

In honour of my Father who lost his battle with Cancer 5 years ago tomorrow 03/03/2011 - Training starts on that anniversary with a walk to one of his favourite places Simon Seat - its only 8 miles from Bolton Abbey and climbs through the Valley of Desolation. . . Last year I had to stop several times as I couldn't breathe - who knows how I'll manage this year.
Your help & support little or large will mean allot to me & will certainly help http://prostatecanceruk.org/ continue to help sufferers & their families as well as the research & education they do.
Thank you - wish me luck :)
