As my wife never fails to point out, I'm 53 years old with an arthritic ankle and an increasingly impressive wine belly. Nevertheless, I will again be running the Grand East Anglia Run (a 10K) to raise funds for Cancer Research. This awful affliction has claimed the lives of several people close to me, but I have also seen it beaten, and the more research that can be done will lead to more lives being saved from a disease which affects 1 in 3 people currently.
