Story

Hello and thank you for visiting my sponsorship page...

In a brief moment of madness, I recently (well October) decided to run the London Marathon in 2005. Alcohol was not involved in this decision, although I can perfectly understand why you might think otherwise. I mean, look at my picture! Do I look like a runner to you?!

You can help make some sort of sense of this insanity by sponsoring me. I'm raising money for the Dockland Settlement, a charity based near us in East London. I'm hoping to raise over a thousand pounds.

You can also visit my new website - there you'll be able to keep track of my training and other information on the marathon. The address is:

http://www.notbbc.co.uk/marathon/

You can sponsor me now on this website. Donating through justgiving is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Dockland Settlement will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support. Rob S
