Story

Hello! Thanks for visiting my page.

Every 20 minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a blood cancer, the fifth most common cancer in the UK.

I'll be running for my brother, and best friend, Danny. He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in 2014 and since then has beat it, twice! Thankfully, I was a stem cell donor match for Danny (free pints for life).

Charities such as Leukaemia Care are vital to ensuring that more and more people beat it every year. It is an absolute honour to run for them.

Any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated!

Just £2 could ensure that a newly diagnosed patient gets the information they need from booklets to Leukaemia Care's patient magazine; sources of comfort at a vulnerable time.

£25 could fund a phone call on their help line with a trained haematology nurse.

£100 could fund sessions of counselling for a leukaemia patient or one of their loved ones.

£1,000 could enable Leukaemia Care to support five families with a one-off hospital travel grant.

Thank you!

Rob
