Conscious of the isolation and difficulties faced by many these past few years, and as the Student Engagement and Experience manager for the School of English, Communication and Philosophy (ENCAP) at Cardiff University, I sent out a call to students and fellow colleagues to form a School squad for the upcoming Cardiff Half Marathon and raise funds for charity.  

I'm elated to announce a great response, with 14 runners in the ENCAP squad looking to raise as much as possible for both Cancer and Mental Health Research.  

If you would like to donate, anything you could spare will be most appreciated... And of course, if you're available on Sunday 27th March 2022, come cheer on the ENCAP squad!
