Peak Ride 2023

Grand Départ Classic 2023 · 23 June 2023 to 25 June 2023 ·
Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
As you may already know, I registered for a cycling event called the Grand Départ Classic for Prostate Cancer UK (PCUK), which is the first stage of the Tour de France (for amateur cyclists) in Bilbao this year. However, PCUK cancelled their participation in this event due to a lack of registrations.
Therefore, I've decided to do something a little closer to home and take part in the Peak Ride 2023, which starts in Cheshire and heads out towards the Peak District with over 7500ft of climbing over a distance of 80 miles on 28th May 2023.
What you may not already know and the reason for raising money for Prostate Cancer UK is that my Dad was diagnosed with this terrible disease in 2018 and received a terminal diagnosis in 2020.
I understand with the current cost of living rising, you may not be able to donate as much as you would like to but any amount of sponsorship will be greatly appreciated!
I've linked my Strava profile, so follow my journey as I prepare for Peak Ride 2023
More about prostate cancer
Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That's thousands of dads, grandads, partners, brothers, uncles, sons and mates. But it doesn't have to be this way. The money I raise will help fund lifesaving research into better tests and treatments to help men live long and live well.
