Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Job done, but you can still donate!
Final update. It was even colder than expected at -4C (24F) and a little windy in parts, but it was dry and sunny. Had a great run, and finished in 3:31:57, almost sticking to 8 minute miles throughout. Result can be found at this link:

Thank you all once again for showing your support, remembering Jonny, and raising nearly twice what we originally hoped for. It definitely provided some help around mile 22.
No backing out now after you have all shown such generosity. Thank you all again. Weather forecast is dry, but cold! (-2 to 4C, 28 to 40F). I will be thinking of your comments and donations, and Jonny's never give up attitude, through each and every mile.
I've (foolishly) decided to run my first Marathon, all but three months after hitting 40!
This idiotic, public endeavour is wholly the fault of my late Brother-in-law, Jonathan Hornsby. If he were still with us, I'd be keeping quiet about this until AFTER finishing! Sadly, He is not. So I am going public, and asking you all to donate to Vasculitis UK.
Your donations, large and small, will be gratefully received, and will go some way towards remembering a truly great man and helping ensure that less families have to suffer the heartbreak caused by all forms of Vasculitis.

Please donate whatever you can to aid in their research,
Thank you all,
Robin
