I am cycling around the edges of the Stansted Archdeaconry in the Diocese of Chelmsford on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th September as part of the Friends of Essex Churches 'Ride and Stride' sponsored bike ride.

On the first day, we will cycle from St Peter ad Vincula, Coggeshall to All Saints, Gt. Chesterford through the Rodings and along the border with Hertfordshire - 78.2 miles. Day 2 is the return journey via the northern and eastern borders of the Archdeaconry - 74.0 miles. In total, we will cycle 152.2 miles, climb 4,500 feet and visit 58 churches along the way.
