Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Please scroll to the bottom for my 'hitting my fundraising goal' pledge.
Nobody thinks that childhood cancer will impact them until it does. This was the view of two of my closest friends back in January 2018. We all understand how cancer can impact people that might make poor lifestyle choices, but for a 4 year old to develop cancer is nothing short of cruel.
18 months later, after multiple rounds of chemotherapy and much love
and support from friends and family, I am pleased to report that JMJ is in full remission and free of cancer. This fantastic result is due to the kindness and dedication of the staff at Birmingham Children's hospital and UHCW hospital in Coventry.
Team JMJ is focused on raising money for the Chris Lucas Trust, a
charity that is 100% committed on finding a cure for the childhood
cancer Rhabdomyosarcoma. By donating to this page, you will be funding research in to this brutal cancer that impacts the soft tissue of children throughout the UK.
If I hit my fundraising goal I pledge to run in a 'Run Forrest Run' fancy dress costume (scroll down to see it) - just like in the movie!
