What is Ride for Roy, well we are a group of friends of Christopher Roy Davies , raising money for the Velindre cancer centre in Cardiff and the Swansea cancer centre .

Roy battled with bowel cancer for a number of months , unfortunately the aggressive nature of his cancer overwhelmed him and on the 12th of September 2021 Roy was taken from us, at the age of 53. A life ended too soon, as are many all over the country .

Early diagnosis and treatment of any cancer is so important and with the right treatment and support survival rates are improving. The Velindre cancer centre in Cardiff and the Swansea cancer centre provide exceptional support for Cancer sufferers across the South Wales

Roy lives on in our hearts and he touched many people whether through the Llanelli Youth Theatre, the Metropolitan Police or the Scarlets - the original 'Scarlet Pimpernel'.
