Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Together with some of my family, in memory of my little brother Tyler, we’re raising money for Hope House who helped us massively.
The Yorkshire 3 peaks is a 24mile challenge over a 12 hour period with a 1500 meter combined climb which has around 25% of people fail to complete.
Tyler was born in 1999 with a rare syndrome called Smith Lemli Opitz syndrome. Shortly after his birth we were advised he only had days to live, he fought against all odds but his life was still short.
At 4 and a half after many operations and countless infections he was doing good until.... He caught a cold. Doctors said his chest was clear and there was nothing to worry about. The next morning he was still unwell and at 2:30 in the afternoon our world came crashing down, he lay in his bed and took his last breath.
Tyler loved his time at Hope House and the care givers there were amazing.
They help so many families with children who have life limiting conditions. We want to give something back in Tyler’s memory, to help keep them helping families like ours.
