On 25 May 2008 I completed the Plymouth Half Marathon for my second consecutive year with a running time of 1:56.08, placing me 1395 out of 3438 runners.

This year I have been raising money for The Meningitus Trust in memory of a family member who at the age of 23 was fit & healthy and training for this years Half Marathon, when he was struck down with the disease; and after 6 day battle, sadly lost his life.  

I would like to thank everybody who was so generous and kind to sponsor me, I could never have imagined that I would smash my fundraising target. Your support to both me personally, my training and the charity has left me speechless.
