Story

Hello all,

I was very out of shape in 2007 and a New Years resolution was to get fit. Obviously I couldn't start eating sensibly and going to aerobic classes; I am after all a man. So instead I set myself the challenge of running a marathon.

The London Marathon was out the question - as there were no places left. So instead I decided to wander over the pond and join our Canadian friends by doing the Vancouver Marathon. As I was going to all this effort, I thought raising some money for a worthy cause would be good.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: the Motor Neurone Disease Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
