In August 2012 I was invited to a breakfast BNI business network meeting in Ware, Herts. I was very unsure about this environment as it was completely out of my comfort zone. As weeks went by I was very optomistic about the future of our BNI. We lanched our chapter  'Endeavour' in September. Along the way I have met some wonderful people and we have built a team of around 30.

One of our members Emma Lippiatt joined who works for Isabelle Hospice as the Corporate Relationship Manager. Several members of our chapter know Emma whether its through the hospice or maybe networking events. She does a fantastic job and really puts herself out to make things work for Isabelle Hospice.

Emma  came to us with the idea of BaseCamp, Everest and several of us have signed up and are training ready for this monster of a challenge.

In all honesty, for me its very challenging as over the last few years I may have put on a few extra pounds more than I should have. My challenge is blood, sweat and tears of training running around 30-45 miles a week until Nov 2nd 2013. Then I will be READY so Everest better watch out!!!
