At aged seventeen, I donated 4.72 million of my stem cells over eight hours to a patient living with blood cancer. Six months later, I returned to the donating chair to donate even more cells. This began my impassioned relationship with the brilliant, life-saving blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan.
In October 2022, I will be running the London Marathon to raise funds for Anthony Nolan which aims to make lifesaving connections between patients in need and incredible strangers ready to donate their stem cells. Money raised contributes innumerably to the work of Anthony Nolan, not least through growing the stem cell register, continuing to orchestrate ground-breaking research as well as providing world-class post-transplant healthcare.
I hope you're able to at least think about donating to help me on my way to the finish line. It would mean a great deal if you would help me raise money for Team AN. If you want to find out any more information, please check out their fantastic work at
