Story
I am running the London Marathon this October in aid of Hope for Children to support the vital work they do with children around the world. Hope currently operates in 5 countries: India, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda and the UK where they aim to improve the lives of children who live in extreme poverty and provide them with a fulfilling future. Hope aims to achieve change by focusing on improving education, practicing sustainable livelihoods and health and wellbeing and in particular, helping those who suffer from marginalisation including girls, orphans and children with disabilities.
This year, a team of Hope for Children supporters will take on the iconic Virgin Money London Marathon in aid of Hope for Children. They'll be helping children around the world to have a happy, healthy and positive childhood.Almost half the worlds children live in extreme poverty. Hope for Children are helping to change this by delivering education, health, livelihoods and Child Rights projects that benefit thousands of children and families each year.Everything we do is for the benefit of todays children and tomorrows parents, supporting present and future generations to achieve long-term change. We know it will take time.
