Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was diagnosed with a Salivary Duct Carcinoma in 2017 and benefited greatly during my treatment and ever since from the support that Maggies West London & Cheltenham have afforded to myself and my family. The safe environment they provide, the expertise and guidance available to draw on and the work of the centre volunteers in providing a sanctuary in a time of upheaval, stress and worry can never be overstated..

Unrelated to the cancer I suffer with a disability that sees me using a wheelchair outside of my home to get around as walking is very difficult and painful. Due to this I will be completing LM2022 using my wheelchair.

By taking part in LM2022, I hope to be able to make a donation that will ensure others can benefit in the future in the same way that I have on my journey with cancer and allow Maggies to continue providing the amazing support that they do.
